BBH Design Featured in Healthcare Design Magazine

BBH Design had two projects featured in the September 2008 issue of Healthcare Design magazine. The WakeMed Apex Healthplex is classified as the first business-occupancy stand-alone emergency and ambulatory care facility in North Carolina. The success of the Healthplex is driven by a desire to create human-centered architecture that is emblematic of a shared dedication to efficient care, optimized staff performance, and a favorable experience for patients and guests. 

The second project featured is the Rex Healthcare Birth Center. Rex Healthcare retained BBH Design to transform the third floor of their Women's Health Center from offices into a state-of-the-art nursery and post partum suite. The renovation contains three nurseries, thirty post partum rooms, and their support spaces.
