With the credentials, strength and ability of a nationally recognized
firm, BBH Design provides planning and design services to the
region’s most respected institutional, healthcare, corporate
and government organizations. BBH Design evolved from the internationally
acclaimed architectural firm, NBBJ, which established a Research
Triangle Park, North Carolina office in 1975. In 2002, partners
Rich Beale, Lee Buckner and Douglas Hall, who had been managing
the office for over ten years, executed its transition to an independent
practice and now lead BBH Design.
Renowned for its design in higher education, science and technology,
and health care markets, our staff has been recognized for design
excellence with numerous state and regional design awards. More
importantly, we anticipate and accommodate our clients’
needs—sometimes to change direction— creating the
inspired buildings that fulfill their aspirations.
